Beyond excited to announce my acceptance and participation into a unique II Level Master's in Music Composition program at the G. Verdi Milan Conservatory. The program was created to allow young composers to work side by side throughout the academic year with five of the most important composers on the European and world scenes.
Additionally composers work with the Syntax Ensemble made up of internationally renowned musicians. Throughout the course we will participate in analysis, semiography and electronic music courses taught by professors of the Conservatorio as well as collaborations with external ensembles and orchestras.
In this truly unique program, which takes place in Six One-Week sessions throughout the year, I will be studying with some of my favorite and most cherished living composers, including (listed in order of attendance during the Master):
Klaus Lang – George Benjamin – Marco Stroppa – Unsuk Chin – Alberto Posadas
